About atom.bio: our story
atom.bio is a free tool to create a one-page website or link in bio page. We are a small family business based in Spain, started by Dani and Rosa. More than 1 million people have signed up to share their links, products, contact buttons and story on one page at atom.bio/your-name.
We started like you: from zero
It all began with a couple living long-distance who wanted to create something together.
What could we build? We had no money to invest, just some free time after work. It couldn't be something physical because we lived 2,000 km apart. We kept asking ourselves the big question: what problem could we solve?
Dani had been a gaming streamer on Twitch. Rosa was a yoga content creator on Instagram. A few years earlier we had tried to start a yoga ecommerce... and we failed. Starting out is tough, especially without connections, without budget and with a thousand tasks to do. That's how we learned firsthand how hard it is for every entrepreneur and creator to start from the bottom, especially on social media.
And that's how the idea was born: an accessible tool to help entrepreneurs and creators show their projects. We wanted you not to need design skills, money for a website, or anyone's help to start sharing your story or showing your business.
Just a simple place, without complications or unnecessary features. Something we couldn't find when we started.
We didn't know how to code, and we knew nothing about marketing, finance or UX, but we had lots of determination, so we learned everything from scratch. Line by line of code. Post by post. Error after error. Little by little, with no shortcuts, we built what is now atom.bio.
Today, more than 1 million people have signed up for atom.bio to tell their story. It's no longer just a couple's project. It's a family business that grows every day.
